In general, payment is due at the time services are rendered. This includes new patient examinations, emergency visits, and any co-pays. However, other financial arrangements can be made prior to the start of treatment.

For those patients who would prefer an extended payment plan, we offer a financing program through CareCredit. CareCredit can cover your co-payments, deductibles, and other treatment costs that are not covered by your insurance. Visit CareCredit.com or contact our office administrator for further information.
Private & Group Insurance
We will be glad to help patients with dental benefit plans obtain the maximum allowed benefits from their insurance carrier. As a courtesy, we will submit the necessary claim forms, x-rays and other information to your insurance company. Upon receipt of an insurance payment, any balance due will be billed to you. If you have deposited an excessive co-payment, it will be refunded to you.
Although we will gladly file a claim on your behalf, you may wish to submit the claim yourself. In general, insurers process claims filed directly by patients faster than those filed by the professional providers.
Our office administrator deals with many different insurance companies, some of which offer many different dental plans. These companies can change your benefits, co-pays and deductibles several times throughout the year. Furthermore, most dental insurance policies are limited and often only pay for a portion of the planned treatment. We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on the information given to us; however, you are ultimately responsible for the payments of the account.
At times, it is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient’s insurance co-payment. Many insurance companies will not disclose fees until after the treatment is completed. As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any changes with your insurance.
We do not participate with Medicare.
Outstanding balances unpaid after 90 days will be turned over for collection, with collection fees added to the balance and/or court costs and attorney’s fees. If your financial account is in arrears of 90 days or more, we will no longer be able to provide dental care for you. At the discretion of this office, your dental care will be referred to another provider.
